today (or more like yesterday) was my bro's birthday. we (along with my parents' friend, and their family) went to night safari to celebrate his Bday. it was really fun. watched a tribal performance, took the tram ride, saw the night creatures, went down the leopard trail, watched the creatures of the night show, walked down the forest giant trail, and along the fishing cat trail...
saw the giant flying squirrel "fly" from one tree to the other, saw the leopard pacing to and fro in its enclosure, saw the mousedeers and otters feeding, saw the clouded leopard sleeping, saw the hunting dogs, spotted hyenas, striped hyenas, giraffees, various speices of deer, the hog badger, lions, elephants, indian rhinos, tigers, fruit bats, binturongs, tapirs, owls, servals, leopard cat, raccoons, mongooses, hippos, lions, buffalos, porcupines, mugger, gharials, various species of birds... and more animals than i can currently remember...
It was an enjoyable night. had ben and jerry icecream for supper and cut the cake there, and went for a 'night tour'. went to Henderson 'wave' bridge and walked the length of it. it was a fun and relaxing walk. my parents' friend kept telling me jokes after jokes... had a great time. then went out to some malay place for more food. by then it was way past 1am... drove around singapore some more, and even down part of the F1 racing track, then went home.
it was great fun and i really enjoyed myself. time check now is 5:21 in the morning. didn't have an afternoon nap or whatever yesterday, should be dead tired after the long night out, but can't sleep, that's why I'm here blogging... I know, I'm crazy.
