ok, had my results like at 2++++++pm cos mdm tong was talking about stuff.. (wasnt paying attention as usual xP) anyway, here goes:

bio A1
science A1
Math A1
A Math A2
humans B3
chinese B4
L1R5-10, L1R4-7
ok, which means i'm eligible for jc. and minus-ing 2points for cca(a1), i shouldnt have a problem going nyjc. =)
I'm suppose to be glad about my results... but I'm not. cos i know its not the best i could have gotten. due to poor time management, i didnt really complete my Amath paper.. probably resulting in the A2 instead of the A1 i was expecting. humans should have been better too. but i know i've neglected tat subject the most except like right before the paper.. so i guess i deserve it.
but on the bright side, my eng got an A2! was expecting a B3, cos my eng (esp during exams) isn't good. and my chinese, i re-took the paper, improved by 2 grades!
but anyways, all glory to God! by His grace i got a 10. was super worried tat i'll do worse... tat i won't be able to make it to nyjc.. etc etc.. haha.. at least now my tuition teacher won't "kill" me for just passing chinese!! xD
I'm aware tat some ppl think i did really well and shldnt be upset over an A2 instead of an A1 etc... but personally, i know this is not my standard so I'm not happy with it. now I'm just worried i cant go nyjc.. cos got lots of ppl wanna apply, and frm wat i know, quite a number is better than me.. like they got 7-8points for L1R5... ><
so like i did with my 'O' results, i'm gonna trust the Lord, tat if its His will, I'll enter nyjc, if not, wherever i end up in, its where He wants me to be.
i pray for those who didnt do as well as u expected, tat God's grace would be with u, and tat He'll give u comfort so u won't be too upset.
Saturday, January 10

Day1:reported at 8am at lt1. my group was alex1. wenqi in the same grp as me. OGL was chun leong and zul. only 1 guy (steven) turned up. the principal gave a speech (boring), and we watched some videos made by the graduating classes. had a couple of sample lectures. quite boring... xP but some were interesting. had a break in betwn the lectures. after lunch (which was horrible-curry rice xP), we had games. went around the jc and played the games organised by the CCAs. in this way, we get to tour the jc, see some of the CCAs, and enjoy ourselves. had great fun. finished past 5.30. went up to the ava to disturb my sis (she was on duty)
Day2:reported at 8am, suppose to.. but woke up late.. xP chun leong was nicknamed 慢三拍 cos he reaction very slow. then when he go take stuff like our lunch take super long to get it... had lectures.... like the phy one... the lecture was quite interesting.. tea break. then econs lecture. econs is common sense in an uncommon language as quoted by the econs lecturer. quite true in some sense.. had a presentation about the sch's OSLE.. their overseas trips etc etc... then lunch. which was a lot better than the previous day.. =) after lunch was a time of bonding. my grp combine with alex4 and our OGLs go teach us how to play bridge, which is supposingly part of nyjc culture. 慢三拍 kept confusing the spades and the hearts.. super funny.. had a brief talk by a graduate about PW, and we had a PW exhibition after tat. then we had our own mini-projectwork. we were suppose to design a foodcourt bringing into consideration the needs of the ppl described to us. the only guy tat day (whose name i cannot rmb) was the scribe (cos we gals say so). then (for-i-dunno-wat-reason) we kept going back to the shape of the shopping mall, and the guy was like "tat's why they say girls can't do business" and the 2 OGLs (both guys) agreed with him. lol. he forgot he was in an all gal team... haha. he came to regret his words but too late liao. the whole grp turned on him. lol. i helped to design the foodcourt while some of the others flip thru our magazines to find pictures. it was quite fun la... but i dun think the real PW is anything like tat.. the presentation style too much like sec sch like tat... finished at 5.10 roughly. went home after cleaning up.
Day3:reported at 8.15, woke up late again. >< missed part of the chem lecture.. only understood how the equation worked at the last 2 questions.. xP had geo lecture. 2 volunteers did a survey.. the gal (frm my grp) was expected to live up to 88yrs. the guy frm another grp super fake lar!!! he expected to live 97yrs. he excercise like 6days a week for at least 30min each time, dun eat sweets/candies/cake/bbq food/fast food/processed food/red meat, dun drink coffee/tea, have a super good medical record, eats healthy snacks like veg/fruits/yogurt, and is engaged in physically active activities during his free time!!! so fake la!!! cos he beat my team's score, his team got extra 10 points. xP then the lecturer giving lollipops as rewards for volunteering, but the whole lt de ppl dun let the guy get his, cos he say he dun eat sweets!! lol. after the break, we had a dialogue session with the prinicpal, but i wasnt listening. me, lixian and wenqi were taking photos and having fun. xD did a reflection montage as a grp. then the council did a mass dance for us. my grp move to the center to see 慢三拍dance and to support him.. we wanted to see if he dance slower than the others.. xD but he dance quite good lar.. =) had closing cermony and prize presentation.. went down to the canteen for lunch. cos after lunch we can go liao, but our OGLs disappear again, so we left a note saying "u abandoned us. we going liao. bye" something along tat line. xD had great fun during the 3 days of immersion programme. GREAT JOB! to those who planned it. totally enjoyed myself. made new frens and we had fun together--mostly bullying chun leong.. poor guy.. xD but the 3 days also gave me insight on jc life and wat the subjects and lectures are like. no regrets going! =D
