this morning was one of the most stressful for me.. Shamus told me he was gonna be late, and i was suppose to start eq 1st... but the thing is I CAN'T EQ! ya. then bro ZC came down to do eq... n added pressure on me to do eq... he wanted me to do the vocals.. but in the end i also nvr do..
i know all the knobs and wat they do.. most of the time, i can pick out the various instruments in the music.. i can usually tell if there is something wrong in the sound... but i cant tell wat frequency is causing the problem, so i cant resolve it.. even if u tell me like 'the high-mids are causing the problem', i dont know/dont dare to touch the eq.. its been like this for more than a year (basically ever since i joined tech).... at least bro ZC knows/figured tat out today (i think)..

had X-rated part II in service.. P Da preached on sexual immorality. bro KF preached about addiction last week in the 1st part of the X-rated series..
bro ZC told Shamus to let me run the board... *more pressure* and bro ZC was like standing beside/behind me throughout the service.. *adding even more pressure* (it gives me the feeling like during the exam time and the teacher keeps hovering around u and ur mind freeze... got lots of times the teacher hover around my table.. so i cant do my work.. then nvr finish the paper.. xP) then some more kevin nvr serve today... so got no one to joke with/distract me.. then after service during the debrief bro ZC arrow me 1st... actually quite expected de lor.. he everytime also arrow me 1st... xP
i know wat he's trying to do.. to push me to grow in the ministry.. i've been in tech since june 2007, and until now still cant eq.. xP he wants me to grow to at least Shamus that lvl.. do pre-service eq, run the whole service kind of thing.. (lol, bro CW wanted me to reach tat lvl last year.. xP) so he's adding lots of pressure on me to 'force' me to grow.. (which is actually a gd thing)
Bro ZC was my adult leader for the 1st half of my sec 1 year (he's currently my bro adult leader)... then when i joined tech, he was the overall leader in charge of sound. so even though i was in bro Darren team, and bro CW taught me about the sound stuff, bro ZC was like overseeing the sound part.. (and he's always been trying to make me talk more xP) so he's interested in our progress.. and wants us to reach our full potential (which is not wat I've been doing this while..) xP
dont like the extra pressure, but i know its neccessary for me.. xP
haiz, at least the evening was quite relaxing.. cycled to lower pierce, and met uncle jeffery and family (my mom's cell) to watch the sunset.. came home and watched HSM2 and wei xiao bao.. slacked the whole day and nvr study xP lol. phy, bio and maths paper this week! i so need to study...
