still not confident in doing eq...
wore full u today! =D cos we representing our diff institudes. sis meiping borrowed mine, cos we same pri/sec/jc.. josie very guai. came in his full u too! cos actually he dun want to wear full u de.. but he came wearing his hoodie to hide his shirt. njc the uniform not tat bad wat... lol. pam also wearing full njc u..
ryan nvr come cos he go overseas. everyone else came in their full u. =)
my cell was like the only one where everyone wore their uniform!!! sis serene also wear hers, hcjc. n she look so diff lar! really like one of us like tat.. lols. then we go tease her. "welcome, is this ur 1st time here? later we'll intro u to our adult leader sis serene. she's late today. wat is this. adult leader come so late!" LOL. bro jer look like a pilot or something. dunno wat sch tat is. but heard he specially go buy tat uniform cos he cant fit into his old one. LOL. n he happily go where his prefect badge. (showoff! lol. xP) Pda wore his army uniform. brokaf wore the sch u really make him look like a young kid. lols. oh, he also wearing prefect badge i think.. lol. 2 ppl came in nurses' uniform (cos they taking nursing course) then brokaf go find them mask to wear.. LOL.
played gel where we had to write 3truths, mix all the papers together, then let the cell guess who wrote wat. for once, everyone else one was easier than mine to guess. lol. cell was abt temptations. something i can identify in. wat chloe say is right. how much can we claim "it is written..." when countering temptations? i know i dun have much knowledge of the word to do so.
kop josie's hoodie so he cant hide in it in service. fan zhen we at the tech booth, not many ppl can see us liao.. still want to hide behind the hoodie. xP
service ran quite smoothly bah.. except certain parts where the rgb not really focus. had to tell ben to show the next point. they also not very familiar with the slides.. lights was nice. red n white stars.. xD got haoran to run the board for the front part of service (aka praise & worship) he's trying a bit more.. but still dun really dare play with all the instruments. learnt a new song, one God. cant seem to find it though. maybe its composed by us.. *shrugs*
most of the time in service today was spent praying. for ignyte. for our generation. for the nation.
after service very rush.. right after debrief, rush to go for a meeting with the leaders (abt which i cannot disclose til the info is released), then sis qy wanted to talk to my cell (core grp) cos of the cell planning, which only chloe turned up for (sry chloe). then the whole time can see broZC walking abt waiting for me and josie to finish. then sam,al,jan,miranda,n gang were waiting for me to finish too (n they were making a lot of noise.. keep trying to get my attention). then rush back to make sure everything shut down liao, then broZC gave me n josie extra debrief (cos we team leaders)
then finally done. apparently the gang help me take my stuff out. then cos i dump josie hoodie with my bag, they thought it was mine, so they bring out for me, n (according to jan n miranda) al go play with the hoodie.. lol. it was super funny when i told them the hoodie was not mine but joseph's. LOL.
went out with the gang to eat.
btw, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIRANDA!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY XIUXIAN!!!
me, janice, asaph, al, sam, miranda, n drew went out to secret secret place to (sortof) celebrate miranda's bday. can tell drew is making the xtra effort to bond with his cell (sam n al) cos my gang very bonded. so very sway (in some sense) tat most of the gang end up in one cell.. so those in the cell but not in the gang will sometimes be left out..
went with jon n miranda to j8, cos they going to dunno-who's-house to celebrate etc. reached home quite tired. slept until NDP started.
jack n mom went to watch the actual thing. dad was part of the support team or something.
this yr ndp was refreshing in some ways.. yet i miss some aspects of it.. a lot of the styles were new. the grid thingy was totally cool. but miss the contigents forming NDP 09 tat kinda stuff. but was super high n patriotic. xD stood up with the ppl (proudly) to sing the national anthem (twice) n said the pledge loudly. xD sang alone all the songs i knew. then when the ppl there wave their lights, me n rach wave our red cushions.. xD love the fireworks as always.. xD
songs wise, i miss singing the old song as they were.. not the remix versions. but this yr song... what do u see.. not too bad lar. not as catchy as the old songs, but it'll grow on u the more u hear it.
tmr got tuition in the morning.. ><
then pw for most of the rest of the day... xP
