quick update on the main things tat happened in my sept hols
4/9
went down to serene macs. ate with alex, mich, alysia, sher n amanda. talked n recalled IHAL over diner.
met the rest at meeting place @trinity @adam!! (finally for the 1st time a combined event is held @adam!!! --really missed tat place) and we went for 4 ONE!!! =D
really had a great time of worshipping then, n PDa shared a few words... all the songs were composed by IGNYTE, n the band was WOAH!! totally awesome. only thing was tat the music was too loud. literally BLASTING!
went partially deaf after the event. was like shouting the whole time i was talking to ppl after tat cos i couldnt really hear myself. the music was really really loud! plus i sitting 2nd row somemore, right in front of the speakers.. my ears hurt (literally) n there was a slight ringing sound... but at least i recovered the next day.. sort of.. i highly doubt my ears would ever be as sensitive as before now....
oh wells. but minus the sacrificial of my ears and hearing, the combined worship service was totally awesome and so worth the sacrifice!! =)

met the section at bugis for section steamboat dinner. seemed more like SP/SL steamboat dinner... only the SPs and above came!! =( but had a good time of bonding and eating. had to combine 2 tables cos our grp was quite big (me, chloe, jer, chris, drew, shumei, esther, sisQY, sis serene) my table was jer and chloe. jer poor thing,cos me n chloe dun eat veg n spicy, so he cannot have ma lah n he dun dare put in veg in the soup cos he scared we wont drink the soup after tat.. lol.
but we really had a great time of bonding. (me n jer bonded over trying to fry an egg.. LOL part of the egg got stuck on the foil, but wat we managed to savaged actually tasted good!! ahaha xD) had a (failed) game of truth n dare then joined in the other table talk on the relationships of the leaders.. lol.
in the end, focus was on sis serene. we all trying to guess who she like. pester her like siao. tried all ways to persuade her.. but.... haha.
celebrated esther's bday as well... the guys went "to toilet to make cake" when they hid somewhere to prepare the cake. when they came back, chloe was like "see! they really went to make cake!" lol.
had icecream for dessert after tat.. continued trying to find our who she like. got her to say her top 5 favourite leaders.. but cannot say cos we all "promised to secrecy" but seriously, even after she say her top 5, we still stick to our top 2 most likely candidates. Lol.

went to bugis for steamboat dinner again. only this was with the IHAL tech team!!!!!! haha. finally! after soooooooo long we finally had our reunion dinner... only thing was not everyone could come.. in fact, for the tech side, only me n shamus came. the video team very happy. cos we always out-number them like 20 v 7. but now, they win us 6 v 2 LOL.
hd a great time, n there was a debrief afterwards. really really reaallllllyyyyy missed IHAL
joseph (or is his name joshua? cant rmb.. oops) stood up for me when broZC said "guys...". he was like "shouldnt it be guys n gal??" haha. thanks man. really appreciate it whenever ppl do include me as a girl. =) (n of course broZC must have the last say. "guys is a general term" haha.)
side-note: i'm not offended or upset (usually) when ppl use a general term, but i feel really appreciated if ppl do take the effort to include the other gender (esp when its the minority --like in this case, i was the only girl --again). tat is if its not in a sacarstic tone.
